Who says that the GT-R is supposed to specialize in drifting. Drifting slows cars down, and the GT-R is built for sheer speed which would explain why it doesn't drift well. If drifting was faster, then we would see Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton drifting around Formula 1 circuits. Car and Driver is far superior to Motor Trend.

Handling is great compared to the accord, in speed it matches up good with civics and accords, Its not so great in acceleration, but thats what mods are for. One of the best FWD ive driven. Plus its an under the radar car so don't get stopped by cops much which means more MODS!! haha

It IS very underpowered, so if you like flooring it, you won't get much of it out of this car. On the bright side though, you can customize these cars a BUNCH, so tricking out the engine is an option (after market option). Being so light, it hits 80 comfortably, but I haven't gotten much more then that (that is to say I haven't TRIED to go much faster than that). Other than the engine not being super powerful I have no complaints. It's awesome

I've taken my Tc to the mountains, the beach, unpaved roads and muddy fields. Haven't got stuck anywhere once. The car can definitely keep up with the lifestyle. Not even going to talk about the gas mileage and ability to fit in the smallest parking spots.

They keep saying "purpose-built drifter." They never bother to refer to the GT-R as a purpose built racer. Who says that the GT-R is supposed to specialize in drifting. Drifting slows cars down, and the GT-R is built for sheer speed which would explain why it doesn't drift well. If drifting was faster, then we would see Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton drifting around Formula 1 circuits. Car and Driver is far superior to Motor Trend.

@elementwingz nissan has always had GT-R, it started from the R32, R33, R34, and this one is the R35. So it should be the Nissan Skyline R35 GT-R.
