The Volt I can actually take out of town and on trips if needed and won't leave me stranded in rush hour traffic if the battery dies. For my daily use I'd never even need a backup generator like the Volt has. However, I'm Glad it's there !

Google it, and you will learn that the Leaf does not have a system to keep its battery from getting too hot or cold like the Volt does. Also, the Leaf depletes its battery to a VERY low level which is bad on the battery. Volt turns on its on board generator (the engine) earlier to protect the battery. When Leaf battery is drained, its owner is STRANDED. Don't listen to "hype", learn the facts yourself.

They'd have to base the Z28 off the vette chassis for it to even compete with the 2011 GT500. another vette. Boring

Fords dropped the pushrod and went for modular where chevy decided it was a perfect oppotunity since ford wasn't using it anymore. The LS7 is an amazing motor, but don't forget, it is just a big motor with huge heads, of course it's going to work well. The new 5.0L is 1.2L smaller and is more efficient then the 6.2L could ever be. The camaro competes with the SRT8 challenger. The GT 5.0 stomps them both.

You also do alot of bragging for a company which based it's best motors from ford's technology. The LS7 heads are almost a direct copy of the 351 boss cleveland.

Believe it or not I was set on an MS3 as well. I got my SS Turbo for 17,998 as opposed to 28,988 (Canadian) as it was paint damaged and re-painted at the factory. Otherwise I would have bought an MS3. Having driven the SS for awhile i'm glad I did. It's an acquired taste but the lack of tire and wind noise, coupled with the comfortable ride, good steering feel and fantatastic responsiveness make it a better car than non-owners realize.

Not to mention for an extra $2800 you can have an interior as nice as the Mazda 3 and dump some mods into it and you have a car that's nicer and faster. For me, that's what i'd wan't. I'll grant you the base Cobalt is dull and a bit uncomfortable stock. It also costs about $4,600 less. However, it IS faster than the Mazda 3, the Civic and the Corolla so get your facts straight on that. The Civic DX interior isn't much nicer, nor is the Corollas. Frankly, I love Mazda. Akways have. However, I like cars for speed and performance numbers and since the SS Turbo is faster and handles better to me its better than the MS3
